About Derek Singleton
Derek Singleton was an Exemplary-Rated Educator with Dallas ISD, recognized for his outstanding performance in a merit-based teaching environment. A proud graduate of Xavier University of New Orleans, Derek went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Jackson State University.
Education runs deep in his roots—his mother is a retired educator who inspired his lifelong dedication to teaching and learning. Over the course of 26 years in the classroom, Derek has consistently demonstrated a passion for student success, instructional excellence, and professional growth.
Today, Derek continues to advance the field of education by preparing and equipping fellow educators to excel in performance-driven environments while making a lasting impact in their classrooms
